Sarracenia 'Juthatip Soper' pitcher plant

Sarracenia ‘Juthatip Soper’ was bred by Matthew Soper here in the UK, and won the RHS Award of Merit in 1998. It’s a fantastic plant that produces big, sturdy pitchers with remarkable pink colouration. The pitcher mouths are wide with frilly hoods, and in the summer months they produce copious amounts of nectar. This is a plant that really stands out in any carnivorous plant collection!

This hybrid is technically Sarracenia (leucophylla x purpurea) x leucophylla ‘pink’. The colour from the S. leucophylla parentage really stands out, with vigour and shape from S. purpurea. It’s an attractive easy grower that would enjoy any bright sunny position. Stand it in 1-2cm of distilled or rainwater throughout the growing season. You can learn more about cultivation in my free Sarracenia Growing Guide.

The plants I have for sale are healthy and established, and are sent potted. See delivery information.
