A beautiful seed-grown hybrid. The large, robust pitchers of N. spathulata paired with the always-great hybrid parent N. lowii makes for a winning combination. The first image shows a mature specimen of this cross, expertly grown by Drew at US nursery Carnivero. The next three images show a couple of the medium-sized plants (10-14cm diameter) which are for sale. As you’ll see, the markings and colouration are already fantastic. I’ve found this to be a surprisingly fast grower which holds many pitchers at once.
While I grow these successfully in my highland greenhouse, I expect this cross will be tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, including warmer intermediate temperatures. For more cultivation advice, see my Nepenthes Growing Guide.
Plants will be sent potted. See delivery information.
